Support MN's Future Now

My name is Nick Peters, I am the Republican candidate challenging our State House legislator, Emma Greenman, in November. I decided to oppose Ms. Greenman this year because I believe she and the DFL are ruining the state beyond repair, and increasing voter turnout is critical to electing officials at all levels to preserve the values that were responsible for making Minnesota a great state. 

Right now, I am seeking to qualify for Minnesota’s public subsidy. Essentially, Minnesota has a fixed pool of money that will be split among all qualifying candidates across the state. It is very important that I qualify, so that this money (>$5,000) is NOT given to the DFL. I will use it to spread a positive, conservative message and get out the Republican vote in our area. 

I qualify for the subsidy by raising enough small donations from Minnesota voters before July 20th. This subsidy is putting a 3X or 4X multiplier on all small donations my campaign receives, up to $1,500. I am over half-way to my goal and am writing this message to let you know that a $50 or $75 donation to my campaign will have a much greater impact because of this subsidy from the state. 

Donations to my campaign are also eligible for Minnesota’s Political Contribution Refund (PCR) program, which reimburses you, the ELIGIBLE MINNESOTA VOTER, up to $75/year ($150 per married couple) for money donated to campaigns like mine. That means when you donate to my campaign, I will send you a receipt which you can then send to the MN Department of Revenue, and they will refund you (if you haven’t already gotten your free refund from the state yet this year). 

Fewer voters participate when we don’t have a president on the ballot. State-wide, our Republican State Auditor lost by fewer than 9,000 votes in 2022. There were several hundred conservative voters in our House District alone that didn't vote that year. Consider enabling my local campaign to reach these voters, and boost turnout for our critical, state-wide elections as well.
